Find out how you make Story Time even better and help your child learn to read!

If you want your child to become a confident reader, one of the best things you can do is read to them! The more your child is read to, the easier they will find it to read themselves. In fact, studies have shown that children who are read to for around 20 minutes each day are most often in the top 10% of readers in their class.

Whether your child is just starting to show and interest in books or is well on their way to being a ‘free reader’, story time can help them improve their reading and challenge them to build reasoning skills that will set them up for success. They’ll develop their vocabulary, find blending words easier, and build resilience to keep them going, even when it gets hard. Knowing how to get the most out of story time really will lead to your child becoming a more confident reader!

It’s a fantastic introduction to what you can be doing at home to help your child with their reading.
