A free masterclass to show you how to build your child's blending skills and fluency at home.

Blending is the most common reading roadblock that children face, and it can spring up at any time:

  • Some children may be beginning to blend, struggling to put 3 sounds together and make sense of them (like cat/bag/pop)
  • Some children might have mastered that, even found it easy, but stumble when it comes to two consonants next to each other (like clap/pray/tent).
  • Some children may have even managed that, only to fall down when it comes to multi syllable words, finding it difficult to remember all of the sounds in longer words (like caterpillar/concrete/kitchen).

If your child is struggling with any of these, or you want to make sure you’re prepared just in case, this masterclass is for you.

In the decade that I’ve been teaching, difficulty with blending has come up again and again. It’s a difficult roadblock to solve in school, but surprisingly easy to do at home (mostly because doing something for shorter amounts of time, but more often, is – and has repeatedly been proven to be – a better way to learn!).

In this masterclass, I’ll show you the activities and strategies I’ve used in my classroom, with my 1:1 students, and that I’ve given to many parents over the years. These strategies will have a huge impact on your child’s reading and the best part is your child won’t even know they’re learning.
